2024 Hartford Irish Road Bowling Tournament Set for July 20
Registration continues for the 2024 Hartford Irish Road Bowling Tournament. It will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at noon at Riverside Park in Hartford. The event is presented by the AOH Hartford Division 2 in conjunction with Riverfront Recapture.
The registration fee is $50 for a team of four or $15 for an individual. Everyone who participates will receive a free tournament T-Shirt and goodie bag. We will be providing road bowling equipment, but participants are also encouraged to bring their own if they have it.
If you are thinking of playing, it would be helpful if you register by Friday, July 5 so we can order the correct number of t-shirts.

One you have registered, please Venmo your fee to @HartfordAOH or mail a check made payable to "Hartford AOH" to Hartford AOH, PO Box 68, Glastonbury, CT, 06033.
We are also looking for companies that might be interested in donating items for our raffle and to give gift certificates and coupons for our goodie bag.
This is the fourth consecutive year that AOH Hartford will sponsor the tournament and the championship trophy will be named in honor of our departed Brother Jamie Forzono, who originally brought the game to the Hartford area.
The Road Bowling Tournament will be part of a fun day with Riverfront Recapture, which will also include Irish entertainment and food trucks.
Irish Road Bowling, also known as Bullets in Armagh, is played with a ball made of iron and steel that is heavy enough to pick up speed, yet small enough for any person to handle.
